This guide explains how Circle Moderators can send Updates — text messages, links, and PDF attachments — to all members of a Circle. Updates are included on all PhotoCircle Premium plans, and can only be sent by a Circle's Moderators.

What an Update Can Include

An Update can contain any of the following:

• Text: Messages, instructions, or announcements typed directly into the Update.
• URLs: Links to external resources, which members can tap to open.
• PDF files: Documents such as itineraries, permission slips, project timelines, or volunteer schedules. There is no file size limit.

Common uses include confirming meeting places and times, sharing event itineraries, and reminding members to upload their photos and videos in a timely manner.

Sending an Update from Mobile

To send an Update from the PhotoCircle mobile app, open the Circle and tap Updates.

• To send a text message or link, type or paste your content and tap the arrow to send.

  

• To send a PDF, tap the paper clip icon and select the file from your device. Optionally enter a title for the document, then tap Upload Document.

  

Sending an Update from the Web

PDF Updates can also be sent from PhotoCircle for Web. Open the Circle, click Documents above the media grid.

In the pop up, click Upload Document.
